Thats right, someone actually bought a Chevy Traverse Redline. Apologies to anyone who likes these but I hate them with a passion.
P.S no I didn’t even bother taking a decent picture of it because that’s too much effort to be wasted on this abomination.

Yeah it works on something with actual sportiness. I mean I get wanting your crossover to be less bland but, I just can’t get behind this. I don’t like when cars try to pretend like something they aren’t. Just my opinion.

Since I took the photo, a white outback has parked beside the blue one.

I'd agree if we were talking about the old traverse (which probably didn't even have this trim), but have you been in the new traverse? Not bad for a family truckster.

I saw a Cruze with the same treatment recently. Pretty sure it's just being randomly applied to cars that are showing up at dealers and some folks are like, "welp, that one has the options on it I want," and that's good enough for them, since the amount of thought and attention most people put into car buying is so low that dealers are able to slather cars with dealership stickers and badges and tag frames and pinstripes and door edge guards that nobody bothers to ask them to remove.

“ I don’t like when cars try to pretend like something they aren’t.”
I can’t help but point out the irony of this statement coming from a guy with a Maxima in his avatar.

I saw an Equinox Redline the other day. I have to admit that I really liked the rims. Other than that it seemed kinda silly.

They used to make Altima coupes with the VQ engine but no Maxima Coupe was ever made. I just shuddered at the thought that Nissan is the kind of company to replace the 370Z with a Maxima Coupe “Nismo” CVT.
Also, I read that one of the dudes at Toyota, when asked about the 2nd gen Solara claimed that it was a, “Muscle Coupe” :P Basically Toyota wanted it to be a front- wheel- drive muscle car/touring/cruiser but couldn’t actually call it a muscle car or a sports car, it being very far from either of those. Great car though. Sometimes I wish it was an ES330 though.

I’ve revealed how much I know about Nissans...
